COTTAGES

At the edge of Poulnasherry Bay, with peaceful farmland at its back and the tidal wetland at its front, lies the NatureQuest Lodge. Superbly located, the Lodge offers 3 fully equipped luxury courtyard cottages, Dunlin, Curlew & Heron. The cottages provide charming accommodation. They are spacious and self-contained.

Each has a bright living room with under-floor heating and large windows allowing the beauty outside to be a part of the cosy interior. The kitchens are fully equipped and have in addition cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Washing-machine, dryer and ironing facilities are available free of charge in the laundry.

Upstairs, the cottages have two bedrooms with differing configurations of double and single beds, each bedroom with it's own bathroom attached. Dunlin, Curlew and Heron are individually decorated in a relaxed country-style and have all the amenities of home in a very beautiful setting.

If you wish to eat out, West Clare has a wide choice of restaurants and eating-houses. Keanes' Oyster Bar and Restaurant is just 500 meters from the NatureQuest Lodge and is known not only for its food but also as a traditional family-run Irish pub.

We aim to offer a high service based on standards which we ourselves would expect, plus little extra touches we feel would be appreciated. On arrival your cottage will have been thoroughly cleaned and prepared, all equipment and facilities checked. Should any item be found deficient, please let us know immediately and we will endeavour to rectify the problem.

In addition to central heating and electricity included in the cottage price, we provide linen and towels. All beds are made prior to your arrival. Please note we do not supply Cot linen or beach towels. We provide basic consumables such as washing-up liquid, dishwasher powder, toilet paper and a basket of initial provisions such as milk, tea and coffee. If you have any special needs please do not hesitate to ask and where possible we should be delighted to help meet your request.
